Howdy! We are Abrakadabra Events, a Children’s Entertainment company servicing Central Tennessee, Northern Ohio, and beyond. We were established in 2022 by David and Jacquelyn Torres-Fuentes in Nashville, Tennessee. From the age of four, David knew that he wanted to be a children’s entertainer. David is first and foremost a clown and loved getting in makeup to perform magic tricks and juggle for friends and family. As David grew, his craft evolved and he became a professional clown in Nashville— serving as the foundation for everything he does for Abrakadabra Events. David’s impressive repertoire includes performing for the Nashville Children’s Theatre, working as a Puppeteer for the Nashville Public Library System, crafting at Animax Designs, and more! David has created and can entertain in all facets of Abrakadabra Events, including (but not limited to): balloon twisting, magic, character performances, and Magical Storytime. 

 

Jacquelyn is a clown, creative, and cosmetologist that has fulfilled her dreams of working in children’s entertainment as well. A full-time Barber in Nashville, Jacquelyn is expertly trained in customer service and interacting. Jacquelyn started her journey in clowning and face painting in 2021 and loves entertaining around the Nashville community. She additionally serves in many creative facets of the business, including songwriting for Magical Storytime and costume design. Together, her and David make up the creative engine of Abrakadabra Events and their passion shows with every performance they do. 

 

David and Jacquelyn’s best friend, Delaney Hendershot, has been part of the Abrakadabra Team since (nearly) the beginning! Hailing from Akron, Ohio, Delaney is a full-time Innovation Manager at The J.M. Smucker Company with expertise in strategy, scalability, finance, and marketing. Delaney found her fit with Abrakadabra on managing the operational facets of the business, ensuring we are best servicing our communities while also handling some of the day-to-day marketing and financial strategies. After a couple years of shadowing David and Jacquelyn, she caught the creative bug and has been entertaining as a part-time clown and balloon twister; primarily servicing Northern Ohio and occasionally Nashville. 

 

Together, David, Jacquelyn, and Delaney collaborate seamlessly— David and Jacquelyn as owners and entertainers and Delaney as an Operations Director and entertainer. This terrific trio is dedicated to bringing the best children’s entertainment to the communities we serve through whimsy, wonder, and joy.
